What isn't being reported- that the 300 billion a year our government is drooling over in CAP and TRADE revenue..(some reports the latest budget plans on only 650bn by 2019 sucker bet if you ask me)  When have you ever seen government take less?  Others estimate 50 but could be 300 billion a year.   

So, take 300 billion divide by  300 million of us  that's $1000 bucks per person tax hike via direct energy cost increase.  For a family of 4 that's $4000.00 a year PLUS the pollution tax that'll be passed down PLUS the costs of goods and services necessary to live will all increase as the energy costs rise.  This ain't pocket change they're talkin about!  It is clearly more theft from the American people by the green owned and operated U.S. and state governments. During a downturn like we have, this is nothing short of LUNACY from green scoundrels in power.

Manny says "Cap and Trade" this!  More of the the big O's agenda, (the"No Energy, Energy Plan). Yep there he was askin them elected green buffoons for the "cap and trade" scam, and the greens cheered. Don't know if you caught the gushing by Pelosi and Boxer...but you could almost see the dollar signs popping out of their eyes as the looked on triumphantly. I can just hear squeeling with delight as the new budget was released laying the framework for this latest robbery.

Sadly most American's haven't a clue as to what this means. What it means is you get to pay at least twice as much, if not more, for energy, goods and services that require energy to produce, will cost way more, and sooner or later they're going to "cap and trading" your personal purchases or activities. How about that?  It isn't needed and it just won't work even if it were needed. Here's how it goes, they, someone, them, (our trusted green owned government) puts a CAP on how much CO2 can be emitted by an energy producer or other manufacturer...(they've cleverly sued their way to calling it pollution). They cap it at whatever they think is allowable CO2 output.The energy producer pays for "credits" from the government, their "get out of jail" allowance so to speak, charged by the ton.

If they make more CO2 than they are "allowed", they have to buy more "credits" or from someone who didn't make as much, hence the term TRADE. In other words a stock market for "cap and trade" carbon credits. And of course the government won't bat an eye at sellin 'em more. And imagine all the time and resources we'll have to pay for to monitor this latest scam, and we all know how well government management works.  These costs get passed on to US.

So the cap is put on by government bureaucrats, the trade is the buying and selling of unused carbon credit certificates to produce the energy we need.   All the time, it never does one thing to cut down on the GHGs (green house gasses) that this crowd claims is destroying earth, but it does a great job at stealing money from the American people.  Yet this crowd wants you to believe that it will cut down emissions, and cleverly spin their justification (lie), when the fact is, everywhere its been tried, emissions have increased, a beautiful scam for hidden tax revenue.

Just think about the monstrous government agency that would need to monitor not only the emissions but the administration of the bogus monopoly money scam.

Wherever the Cap and Trade programs have been implemented, they "flat don't work", it chokes the economy, makes everything else cost more money and don't forget, it won't do anything to reduce any of those "evil GHG emissions". It becomes just another scam complete with scam artists and profiteers that find ways to exploit the government program.  It is a blatant and outrageous attack on our economic livelyhood.

But see, your government, once again, thinks we are stupid and passes it off as a penalty paid by these evil coal producers and oil and gas companies for emitting CO2. They have half the population believing this garbage and the media trumpeting for them. To get more support, they further claim that the revenue will be "recycled" (a buzz word that means nothing) back to the economy by the government. (when was the last time that's ever happened, can you say lottery?) Then they toss in the "money will help the poor pay their energy bill" claim. You know, the energy bill that they just jacked up triple ans the costs of everything else jumps sky high...how honorable of them. (see their plan below)

The greens relish the thought that we are so dense we'll never figure it out until its too late and then can't do anything about it.

It really irks me and should irk you too...first they take your money...and give it to people makin windmills and other money pits they deem need the money.  They then build the wind farms with the government (our nickel) and sell us back what little energy they produce at a premium...and everyone feels dandy that they've saved the planet from certain doom. Brilliant hunh?  These power mongers, they already know about its devastating economic impact, but want a dog and pony show hearing to fool the public into thinking they investigated it.  ...climate change congressional kangaroo court come to mind?

...Get it? WE pay twice, if not more, for the same thing, out economy suffers and the greens cheer as they seize even more control in their quest to destroy capitalism.

To top it off, the windmill people get their cap and trade allowances that they can then sell to the regular energy producers as another source of revenue. Bonus time!

And let's not forget that the government keeps their handling fee on all of this, you know our efficient and streamlined government.  Perhaps we should all be in the windmill business, 'cept that it takes 10,000 of them twirling 24 hours a day to make the energy of just one coal plant, but what the heck, we'd be funded by good ol Uncle Samantha who'll be getting billions to mismanage and while creating another lumbering and inefficient agency with totalitarian powers.

So you getting this picture yet?  What we get is a government funded wind farm or other worthless attempt at making our power, that has been given billions paid for by you and I, that sells the energy it produces back to the market at a premium and makes money on the side sellin its carbon credits, pretty slick hunh? And who pays? WE DO!  Now get this, it's GE or Vesta's the big windmill companies that'll be getting the free money.  Oh did I mention that Vestas by the way is a foreign company and who knows how many insiders are in on this scam.

Of course the fact that it will have done nothing to cut the GHG, won't really matter since the "man made CO2 claim" is bogus to begin with. Meanwhile, the government and environmentalist groups will have created a whole new source of funding that they can spend to further their agenda to destroy America.

And that's just the start...it'll become so popular, that they'll want to expand it to your personal use of goods and services with credits or "personal carbon allowance program" tied to your national id or drivers license or even the new smart grid thermostats that you will be required to install. How about that?

So isn't that great!  We get to pay a penalty or use fee for everything you buy, use or do, how patriotic is that?   The UK already is considering attaching your carbon allowance to your driver's license and having this great government list of carbon credits attached to everything you buy and sell. Then when you used up your credits, you have to buy some more...or go to prison.

Now, take a look, here's what the greens at American progress (progress is a codeword for green or socialist)

The profits: Initial estimates by the Congressional Budget Office project that an economywide cap-and-trade program would generate at least $50 billion per year, but could reach up to $300 billion. Approximately 10 percent of this revenue should be allocated to help offset costs to businesses and shareholders of affected industries. Of the remaining revenue, approximately half should be devoted to help offset any energy price increases for low- and middle-income Americans that may occur asa result of the transition to more efficient energy sources. The other half of the remaining revenue should be used to invest in renewable energy, efficiency, low-carbon transportation technologies, green-collar job training, and the transition to a low-carbon economy. Some resources should also be invested in the energy, environment, and infrastructure sectors in developing nations to alleviate energy poverty with low-carbon energy systems and help these nations adapt to the inevitable effects of global warming. Revenues from the permit auction would essentially be "recycled" back into the economy to facilitate the transition to an efficient, low-carbon energy economy and ensure that consumers are not unduly burdened by potentially higher energy costs.  (the full report here, don't let the name fool ya) 

Ha, so global warming is "inevitable". Do you see it? Once again using the false claim of global warming as a supporting fact. How about that "recycled" claim, suggesting that the money stolen from the economy would be put back...misleading at best.  How about they run this by the person who's energy costs just tripled and the costs of everything else went through the roof.  I'm sure they'll jump for joy at how the money is being recycled...(when it shouldn't have left their pocket in the first place)

This "don't sit lightly with Manny Can", how can you use a lie to be the basis for your policy? That's like sayin the earth is flat so we're banning air travel, and they continue to get away with it.

And how about this choice one from the EPA, straight from the horses mouth, it won't work; "Credit programs impart flexibility to existing programs but do not require reductions." Hmmm, isn't that the whole point of this? Anyone else smell a dead fish?
The short version, we're gonna take it in the shorts and its nothing but another worthless government bureaucracy. So write your officials and tell them this is a bogus waste of time and money and that a more effective use of that is to start repealing the restrictive policies and start opening up our land for our energy resource production.

We can't afford this cap and trade nonsense, nor can we allow the green owned government even more power. Our future as a sovereign nation, the U.S.A depends on our stopping this crowd from their coup d'etat. Bottom line, OUR energy costs more, goods and services cost more, and our economy suffers even more while the government sucks the life out of our livelihoods. It's like tripling your mortgage when you're trying to refinance to cut down on your payments.  It steals from poorest 1st and continues its feeding on the very basic element of our economy.

So the way I see it is that they have this ridiculous plan to scam money from us all in the name of savin the planet and cutting out CO2 production. All under cover of the big fat global warming lie. 

Why bother with any proof of anything?... let's just cap and trade our prosperity away.
