The tools being used by the greens include, manipulating language, education, media, the soon to be carbon credit police, and other forms of coercion heading our way soon.
It's not just the Endangered Species Act, or the study of plowed earth that they're using to stop energy development. The number one deception and most costly issue to our economy is the cry of global warming. If you ever need a few laughs by the way, just download and read the whole IPCC report. The sad thing is that they have much of the population buying into the claim.
Being sensible it one thing...the problem is that governments throughout the USA are using the false premise of global warming or now the PC term, "climate change" to pass legislation that moves into restricting your freedoms and your behaviors. Changing the language to fit the agenda of those who seek communist type of government, worldwide.
Ever read 1984? One only needs to read the first few pages to realize that he was a wise man. Many of the issues that he cited are happening today...without protest.
Lets start with just a few of these so called "remedies" that your governments are trying to force upon you...
- Thermostats required in your home to talk back and report you to the energy police, or citizen army.
- GPS trackers required in cars to track your driving
- A carbon credit or allowance tied to your drivers license...
Or how about the 300 million dollar campaign to rebrand Global Warming to climate change? Wonder why they'd need that? That's right, it doesn't exist.
In 1984 they created new languages to prevent the bad thought the elitists didn't want to deal with . Thought that provoked ideals such as freedom. In our world, they are trying to make climate change a mainstay of the language and have it accepted as the new "truth".
If ya ask me, It seems like today they're getting away with it. The mislead, uninformed and those who buy into the media hype blindly are willingly allowing their government to propose and enact policies that will bring big brother to life.
In the book 1984, The telescreen watched over one in thier home. Today, under the guise of "saving the planet" there are people in your government that have proposals to require you to install the thermostat that reports you, the tracker in your car that logs on to tell "big brother" what you're doing is only different in the senes it doesn't broadcast the propaganda back, that's what the News does.
The problem is that these regulations, designed to save the planet, would not go away once installed. Are you getting the picture yet?, First it's the thermostat, then they decide who can use how much and when, they decide when you've reached your ration, or when the public is allowed to have it.
This is another reason I"m here...
But first I have a little story. Years ago I was living in a small town in Minnesota. They decided that everyone must recycle. Okay, no problem, I put my plastics in one, aluminum in another and then newspaper in the other. All went well, until, I had to travel away for work for a couple of weeks, and alas, didn't recycle.
When I returned, there I was on the front page blacklist of residents who failed to recycle and were destroying the environment. There was also a warning that if this behavior continued I could be subject to fines along with the public ridicule.
I contacted those involved with the smear (mind you those in charge of the town, also were in charge of the paper...sound familiar?) and I was told that "too bad, the law says you must recycle and you didn't" . I say this because this mentality is exactly what exists in those we've elected today. Inept and incompetent and clearly controlled by those funding and pushing the environmentalist fascist agenda.

In Portland , they have the "Trash Police"- - you must eat your leftovers an not dispose of them for they might contribute to global warming.
The carbon allowance ration tied to your Driver's license, being considered in the UK and a bunch of your congressman think its a good idea. That means that everything will have a carbon ration attached to it. You will only be allowed to buy and sell goods up to the point where you've exhausted what the government has decided you are allowed. When you're out, I guess you'll have to "buy" some more and pay your government for the privilege of feeding your family.
Thermostats that not only report you, but ration your government approved energy use, the same concept for cars. Tied into the internet, these devices can peek in on you, turn you off at will, send you in to be fined. In California, it's been considered that the third violation you are charged with a felony. How about that? Criminalization of citizens for using energy is only one of the many desires of this crowd.
Or how about that weekend barbque? Nope, can't have that. There are bills being proposed throughout the country to consider a fine or permit fee for you to use your gas grill or outdoor grill Denmark requires a 50 dollar permit for that weekend burger get together.
Then there's the onslaught of the the green taxes, tied to your energy bill, tied to anything you buy and sell, they love this one, more revenue for the beast. They claim its to build "re-newables" wind and solar, which the math has already shown, even if we used up ALL existing real estate we couldn't produce more than 15% of our needs.
Nuclear up to 10 years application process. Did you know there are investors out there realizing how stupid the American left is that are planning to build 25 nuclear power plants and sell the high priced electricity to the USA? Yet your congressmen plug away to save the planet.
And how about that national civil patrol force? Why do you think they want the citizen spy network set up?
These issues are brought to you by the same crowd that cites hat exercise is bad because people live longer and use more energy. They suggest that we limit how long people can live. Nice, we all get a termination date. Do you see what is wrong with this picture. These people shouldn't be allowed to drive much less propose the Stalinesque version of democracy.
And you think this green thing is good?
And we haven't even gotten to the costs that they see fit. Remember, Congress went on vacation instead of taking actions to tip the supply in our favor. I'll have an episode on that but basically a 1% increase in supply (or even the possibility) translates into at least a 10% drop in the price.

The bottom line the green movement is about control and power. Man has always used his resources and we need to continue to do so. We don't need to usher back communism and give the elite a hall pass to dictate how you and I will live, where you'll work, what time you go to bed, what time you get up, how many children you'll have, what you can eat, what you can watch or where you can take a vacation. That's my 2 cents.
If we do not pay attention, these small little seemingly harmless policies will add up and we'll wake up one day to our own telesscreen.
