The Denver Post, in line with its marching orders from the greens and in concert with almost most left leaning news agencies, continued its praise of Salazar, the EPA and the green "don't turn that dirt" agenda.  No surprise, except that they left out the gay marriage propaganda.

Many an editorial staff, of late, has a habit of weaving that in plenty of their "news" or opeds.  Much like the incessant claim that every weather changes is a result of man made global warming, we are supposed

I only mention it here, one because P.Hilton was a jerk and two, because the gay marriage issue is being used by the greens in their propaganda stating that gay couples are better for the environment because they don't create all those pesky children that'll use up our resources.

But that's an issue for the other blogs.

Needless to say, me an' miss California think alike, but that doesn't mean I think I'm a woman.  Heck when I was a mini Manny and called out for dad, only one person answered, no confusion there, I think our kids deserve the same.  If ya don't like my opinion, then keep your own.

Back to the praise if not worship of the new green royalty, the green Duke's and Duchesses of the land.  I'm talking about the likes of Ken "the controller" Salazar (DOI) Stephen  "we'll all drown" Chu (DOE) Lisa " the liar" Jackson (EPA), and of course the ever power hungry "Gore Groupies" in the House and Senate and throughout the "annointed one's" administration.

The facts are that the meddling by these groups (BLM, EPA, Department of Interior ), the use of things like the Endagered Species Act, Clean Air Act and the proposed energy "regulations and taxes" to close off our energy resources causes economic woes, stalls thwarts or stops energy production.  That creates artificial shortages, higher prices, kills jobs, kills tax revenue, and kills the economy.  And we're supposed to applaud?

They take their orders from groups like; EDF, Sierra Club, Environmental Defense Fund, Center for Biological Diversity, Al Gore.  All of these groups use lies and deception to promote their agenda which all ends up the same place...they control your land and your behavior at your expense.

It is obstruction, destruction and oppression, not progress as they want you to believe.   It really is quite pathetic they are applauded for doing nothing but obstructing our energy supply and damaging our economy and stealing prosperity from our future.

I've often posted about what Caveman Ugg (armed with his club) would have done when confronted by the greens of his time about his use of fire.  I imagine Ugg took care of that problem quite efficiently.  Back to basics perhaps?

In today's world of "politically correctness" we need to suffer listening to those who shriek about turned dirt or believe that their very breath is causing a climate crisis.  The is the same crowd who bow at the altar of self worship and now have their army of greens in power.

The rest of us want responsible management of the environment with policies that don't obstruct energy growth but can help avoid dumping of hazardous waste into water supplies etc.  But that's not the plan with this green crowd, they want to close down America's fossil fuel use, and dictate how we'll live, what we'll drive, what we'll eat, where we can go, when we can use our air conditioning and how warm or cool we can keep our homes.  This from the same crowd that cries foul about terrorists "rights", but has no problem installing big brother in your home.

The EPA alone has shut down development of 60 new coal fired plants in recent months, energy we desperately need, yet the greens cheer.  They continue to claim that wind and solar can meet our energy needs when it is clearly foolishness and even if it could get to  full capacity couldn't even get close to 15% of today's needs.  We have oil and natural gas we could get to but its being closed off by our own government, which is chartered to "promote for the general welfare".

Unfortunately, the green groups who really run the show now,  do not have a center balance and the policies being forced upon us are all in favor of making it difficult, very costly, if not impossible to develop land, develop our resources and get the real energy we need.   Bush kept that extremism in check.   You should look up EO 13211, a wise decision considering the track record of green obstruction of any use of God's great gift to man.

The green owned "royalty" hide behind the bogus renewable energy claim, yet wind and solar and ethanol can never achieve any significant output to meet our energy demands and both require traditional backup systems.  They howl about global warming and green house gasses, yet block nuclear energy production and conveniently ignore and marginalize the real science that disputes their sacred "sky is falling" claim of man made global warming.

In the 648 page totalitarian global warming tax bill, (aka the taxman..I mean waxman, markey global warming tax bill, small letters intentional ) the word nuclear appears only twice.  Not one mention of using nuclear power anywhere. It really is sad that numskulls like this are allowed to spend as much as they have to oome up with a plan that is nothing but communism at its finest.  Yet never questioned why there isn't one mention of the power source that would help their CO2 issue if it were a problem, as the wish us to believe. Every page in this "discussion draft" has government control of some aspect of your life, yet, they'll have you believe that this is about "independence" ?

They cleverly disguise the big brother thermostat program calling it "smart grid".  The smart grid requires appliances including your heating and cooling that talk back to a centrally regulated "entity" that will determine what you can use when, and decide for you when its time to go to bed in your government controlled household.   All so you can help fight the make believe threat of global warming.  But of course as they suggest "be saving money" by coughing up that addittional 10k a year they want you to hand over from what's left of your take home pay.  Are ya gettin the lunacy yet?

They'll have you believe that they can read the minds of wildlife, who have suddenly lost their ability to adapt to their environment.   What did they do before now?  They use this to thwart any new oil and gas exploration, as well as fend off any of the so called renewables they gush about. See, as they continue the assault on America's freedom and our economy, they'll use their imaginary insight into the minds of wildlife to become the new truth to which they can continue to control.  Clever hunh?

If the greens could only get to ridiculous, that would be a gigantic step up. Meanwhile, the lunacy continues and  we get to pay the price, and you wonder why the Tea Parties are ramping up?

The likes of Salazar, Boxer, Pelosi, Waxman, Reid, Chu and even Obama, all believe that humans are but mere pollutants of the earth.   Yet the crowds cheer, the press blows its trumpets and we are all supposed to bow to the green royalty.  I'm sure plans are being made for the holy robes.

Remember when you hear them claim " this is what the change people voted for on November 4th...." not even 1/5th of the population voted for these people, more reason to get out an vote next time.

Unless reasonableness returns, we will continue to have polices dictated by the likes of EDF, Sierra Club, Friends of the Earth and other radical groups who believe humans are but pollutants of the earth, and we will be paying a hefty price, not only out of our pocket but surrendering the very freedom our forefathers fought for.   Sorry, but nothing but obstruction, the loss of freedoms and a huge economic penalty has ever come from these little green gestapo groups.

You really should watch this little cartoon made 50 years ago about the socialists desire to have the State be the supreme authority, and how these crooks sell their bottle of "ISM's" to do it.   What's scary is that they were worried about it back then and we are seeing it today.  It's a clear demonstration of the consequences  and desires of those supporting the self anointed one's  "change" agenda  paired with the Gore Groupie's "green environmentalISM" power grab.
